Wow. Great job. I didn't realise the polycount was so low til I looked at the wireframe. You really pullled it off well.

Great work!, your texture work is really outstanding... I am about to start a PSP spec project that is kinda working the other way round to you, Instead of working from a high rez reference I am building a 3d version of an old 2d character (Guybrush Threepwood). Any chance of some close up wireframes of the hands? I am curious as to how you have structured the geometry.

Awesome, cheers... I'm going to get stuck in with the modelling tonight so hopefully I should be able to post some WIP's soon. I am going for the "Le Chuck's Revenge" version of guybrush with his blue jacket, always prefered that style.. I have tracked down a sprite sheet so I will be picking the colours directly from that for the texturing which should prove interesting.

Back on topic... Is this model purely a personal project or are you working on a handheld version of assasins creed? with the quality of the prince of persia series on the PSP I could see it being a really cool platform for the IP. Prehaps with a few gameplay tweaks to lean more towards the portable nature of the system.. hmmmmm :)

Awesome Poly work, great textures, especially for such a low-poly character. What size if your texture map, 512?

Only think I can think of is, maybe the clothing needs a little 'dirtying up'.

i painted it as 512 then resized to 256

Grade A texture work you've done there.

I always enjoy working with extreamely low poly counts and higher texture pages just to see how far I can push a model without relying on polygons.

Wow, great stuff Genz! I'm playing this at the moment and I think you've captured him perfectly. Amazing how little polys are in in there too.

Very nice, so few polys yet it looks very good. Would be nice to give him some cool pose and have his eagle over him:)

Ubis plans to rule the world are kind of strange :eek: AC for the DS ... when i just think of the controllsystem of AC on the PS3 , and this should work on the DS - like playing an egoshooter on my cellphone!? :D

That's some good work...But you should consider adding more polys. It looks like it would be very limited once you animate it.
The latest psp engines usually have much higher rez hero characters.
Enemies would tend to have lower polys.

hey thanks.I know about that.When i started it,i just wanted to do him as low as possible,not even thinking if its going to be for psp or ds,just low specs
