am trying to make a game model of perrin aybara from the wheel of time books.
I love this character, so this is a good way to improve my organic modeling. heres what I have so far. un subsurfed its at about 1460 quads little high poly. (
heres the whole body so far with clothes and the head attached. I even made his hammer.
on the left is a sub surfed version and on the right is a non sub surfed one.
I have the hair and a couple things left to do. maybe so more changes to the face.
I plan on make a high poly version and using that for normal mapping. I will post some wires later ( (

Hm. You have a good start. I have a few pointers for ya. Some of the proportions do not seem right. For a guy with as buff of an uppper body as this one, his legs look a little thin to me. Also the feet need some work, they are way too narrow for this person to be able to balance. There are also a few smoothing issues, most noticably on the inside of the ankles near the boots. If you play on normal mapping this character I also thing the polies used for the edges of the shirt, boots, etc do not need to be in your low poly, as they can be used in your high poly and save you a few tris, and possibly fix your smoothing issues up. keep up the work, chief.

thanks I fixed the proportions a bit.
I am having a lot of trouble adding hair. any tips or tuts?
this is my main concept.
