View Full Version : low poly -> texture blurred?

i am not really a low poly man at all.
but this time i am doing a camera projection on a low res object and i am really having problems with the textures. they look all blurred and even wrong.
the UVs i generated from the same camera that does the projection..
can anyone explain that to me? what am i doing wrong?
the image on the left is my original model.. and the one one the right was just subdivided by a factor of 4 and looks way better..
but there has to be another way to get crisp textures??

Play with the filter on the texture(make it lower than 1). Also by default textures are quadratic, if fooling with the filter level doesn't work, try making it mipmap instead.

i already turned the filter off and that solved the problem..
but i guess tuning the filter values is the better idea.
