View Full Version : UE3 levels (a GOW and UT3 level)

12 December 2007, 03:55 PM

I've released a Gears Of War level + screenshots of a UT3 level, which will be released next week.

Both levels are fully playable and entirely real time rendered. The GOW level uses a lot of stock art assets in combination with my own BSP and some effects, while the UT3 level, uses only self created art assets, couple of exceptions aside. I've modeled and textured everything except two statues, a car, and a few small things like spiderwebs, myself, and took care of all materials including the water surfaces, and lighting, particles, and so on.

Download for the GOW level (thanks to

'Making of' picture galleries with a couple of comments:

The screenshots of The Spire were taken inside the viewport due to probs with the game, so unfortunally they may look a bit low res at times.

All pics.

Nice modeling and huge scenes.I am so impressed that all are done by your own.
Maybe they are built based on UT3 engine so performance of your scenes are not good enough. If you want to show your own CG skills,I believe there are lots of engines you can choose to present better visual effect.
