I am currently working on the hero's gun and I am almost done.
but someone else has allready downloaded it. so I want his permission first before I put it up.
and would it be ok if I modeled in polys and converted to sub-d's for animation perposes.

please can I do it.

Go ahead and show your stuff, mine is on hold at the moment and kirt will choose to go with which ever one will work best.

Keep it as poly's for transfer, kirt will sub'd it officialy closer to render time.

whoa momma thats gonan be a detailed model.

the swirlies are actually called rifles.

thats where the word rifle comes from. the rifled barrel.

it was a huge technical innovation when it was invented.

why did you pay so much attention to the hidden & coverd part of a mesh?! hehe! maybe next time you model the inside of the magazine! :p LOL!
btw, I think it's a laser gun! or plasma or electro-magnetic or something like that! something less bloody, more fantasy...
