I am doing a multi-joint leg, so I am using the spring Ik.
However, I have a problem. In my rig, I have a main control that moves the entire rig. If I rotate the main controller on the y axis, and look at the pole vectors of the spring ik, they do not behave like the rp pole vectors.
if i rotate the main control with rp solvers, the pole vector rotates with it (when looking at the manipulator).
if i rotate the main control with spring solvers, the pole vector does not change, but the joints orient correctly with the main control.
however, as soon as i try using a pole vector constraint, the spring ik flips around when i rotate the main control.
I tried having the ik's in and out of the rig hierarchy, no difference.
I attached a couple images. just as a test. The first one is no rotation, and the second one is 180 degree rotation on the main control The green one is the RP, the white one is the Spring, which is flipping in the one image.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
