Hey everyone. I'm a little new here and I'm going to look around at everyone work and see if I can be of help to anyone. But more now here is some of my work. Let me know what you think. Be brutally honest and informative, because no one will ever get better if people are always just saying "hey that looks good", or "hey that looks awful", and don't explain themselves.

Really good stuff! A couple of things I noticed:

Swan Dive - when the character lands you probably want his legs to bend in more, especially since he's falling from such a great distance (see attached image) It will make a nice contrast from his legs being almost straight in the fall to being very compact during the landing.

Sword Swing - When the sword makes contact with the ground you need alot more settle, right now the entire character seems to freeze one he hits the grounds, when the sword hits the ground have it bounce back up and down a couple of times and get that settle in his body as well, this is a giant sword, even swinging a baseball bat into the ground as hard as you can will make your whole body vibrate a little

Walk - Right now eventhing is happening at the same time, trying overlapping your keys a little. Also try and get some personality into your walk, walk cycles are suppose to help get across the characters personality, right now it just feels like a generic walk cycle.

overall you have some great stuff, keep up the good work

Thanks for the input Kyle. I have updated the Swan Dive and Sword Swing along with the Spear Toss.

Swan Dive: I fixed the both the initial landing pose by getting in to the landing pose a little earlier. I also fixed some weight issues on the final landing. Let me know if this helps.

Sword Swing: I tried to add a little more weight all around, as well as some impact bounce on the body and sword at the end.

As far as the walk goes.............well I linked the wrong animation. This is an old animation that I need to get rid of. As you can see it was labeled Wall Climb. So this was the clip I wanted to post.

I'd like to know what you think of the Lip Sync's. They need some work, and I don't know if I'll update them, I think I'd rather start new ones, but I'd be interested to here any general impressions you might have. I looked at your site and I really like your work. Funny thing as a side note, I see you work for Schell Games. I applied there like 2 or 3 months ago. How do you like it?

Awesome stuff they are all great!

But thats not to say they can't be worked on=)

Spear Throw:
The point of the spear should always face forward. Throwing a spear is not like thowing a rock or a ball. About half way thru the wind up the the spear rotates and faces the wrong way 90 degrees.

Gun Fight:
The red character bounces when he hits the ground and sticks hard, very little limp sliding. It looks kind of odd. I'm not sure if people actually bounce when they hit the ground like that but a dead/dying person would slide around a little.

Blanka Walk:
I don't see the characters weight, it looks like the center of mass doesn't rise and fall at all. The secondary motion in the dreads is a nice touch =)

good crit on the spear throw MarkD, I also noticed on the spear throw that the chracter is holding the spear at the very end, with that much weight in front of your hand you wouldn't be able to throw the spear, try moving his hand more near the center of the spear. I would also look at some reference of javelin throwing.
