View Full Version : character: rigged robot girl

I posted this model months ago but never got around to rigging it until the last week or so. I'm using her in a video for a local band called the Punk Group (www.thepunkgroup.com (http://www.thepunkgroup.com ) ).
I made her in Lightwave 7.5 using subpatches, box modeling and poly by poly modeling. She pretty much done except for some smart deformations I'm going to add to the elbows and knees to make them bend better.
Additional camera angle and poses can be seen at
Comments are appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the high scores. Very encouraging. Hopefully, I'll have a walk cycle or something to show of her in the next few days.
neversong-Thanks. You can get an upclose look at her face on my website:
Sad World Animation (http://www.sad-world.com)\
The site's a work progress so don't be too alarmed by any Flash oddities you run across
Gnowoga- Well, I tried some other colors on her when I was doing the texture maps but I just couldn't find anything else I liked more than the subdued colors I chose. I'll revisit the whole color scheme as the project advance though. Who knows, maybe I'll come up with something a lot better.
