I was wondering does Premeir have any Plugins or Funtions To export to dvd format? I have some footage that I want to export to DVD and I am Using Premeir at My freinds House But I need to know if there is a better sollution or if I can do It with Premeir Alone. I already have the Stuff edited and ready for export. They are in Mpeg format as is with the proper ntsc ratio, But I wanna burn it to a dvd. I have nero at home But it askes for the image file or some other form Im not to familiar with has to do with Folders.

If Anyone can help me I would be greatly appreciative..

Yes there is, but I think most of the mpeg2 solutions for premiere cost money. One way I would check out is to use Tmpeg to encode the file with premiere as a frameserver. This is a totally free solution. The way it works is premiere does the video processing(ie frameserver) and it passes on the frames as it processes them to Tmpeg that encodes it into mpeg2 format.

here is a tut for it:

the frameserver plugin is here:

Tmpeg is here:

This may be more of a pain in the ass then its worth, but its free. There is a tut for frameserving to other mpeg2 encoders on that site. Cinemacraft mpeg encoder is 3-5x faster than anything else if you happen to own it.

Thanx Beaker I will give this A try... My Cuosin has Pinnacle Impressions and I tried to use It to do It But I got a "crc" error and also I got a "Mux" Video error... I am fairly new to authoring and I don't know what either of these two are...

Also I tried last week to Back up a VHS Anime of Mine to DVD using My Cuosins Impressions softeware and I go5t the same error...

Is there something that I am doing wrong?

I searched on Google for any free Tutorials On Authoring to try and educate Myself But I couldn't find any...

Also I have Tempeg But have never Used it now I will I will let you know in the meantime what happens, If you can answer the questions that I am doing wrong I would greatly appreciate It...

Again My deepest thanx for your quick response and help so far...
