Of course it's possible, that's what Pose Sliders do. Just create a pose for the object and set it to 100%, rotate the bone in question to the greatest extent you intend to turn it, and, if you need rotation in the opposite direction, change the settings on the pose slider so that it has a -100 %, and rotate the bone to the extent you want there, too.
You can create a new pose by right-clicking in the modeling window and selecting "create new pose"...I think...but it should be in the help file....

In Lightwave I did that through a null object using the 7.5 sliders.
I thought in A:M it could be more easy :thumbsup:
