View Full Version : MayaClockDemo, how to fix recording ?

edit : stupid me, all I had to do was not to define SERVER_SIDE_RECORDING, since the code that doesn't work is after a #ifdef SERVER_SIDE_RECORDING. Client side recording works and doesn't have to be coded. Would be nice if there was a bit more help with the examples.


I want to build a mocap server for a midi device, but even in the clockserver example, recording doesn't work (recorded data is much slower).
Indeed it's written in the source code "The server side recording returns incorrect time in the current version"

what it does is
rate = CapGetRequestedRecordRate(client_fd);
size = CapGetRequestedRecordSize(client_fd);

status = CapStartRecord(client_fd, rate, size);

And I don't know what is missing.
How can I fix this ?
