Nice job, looks better then most of the 3d animation shows I see on tv.

Btw, question of curiosity, is the bland textures and use of a single light purely to reduce rendertime, or is it also a style choice?

Hey guys here is a message responce from our Lead texture and lighting artist

The textures were made simple to reflect the style presented by our concept artist; something in a Chuck Jones vein. The single light was tested to see how far we could push the limits of the light and still get a flatened more" 2D" contrast of light and shadow and keep render time low. We have since had to adopt a slightly more complex light rig of about four lights, but an HD frame render is still less than one and a half minutes. The textures also have been upgraded as far as detail is concerned, but float the line between a traditional 3D texture and a 2D render look. Check back later as we post more tests. Change is constant. Thanks for the question!
