I'm struggling big time with the framebuffer in mental ray and maya 2008 (was struggling too before in ver8.5) .I'v read the doc but I'm still really confuse and can't make it work.
What I want is to have different pass in my render (color, spec motion vector, zdeph,etc..), but it's such a headeack seriously.Going to camera, then in the render global, but the name of the pass are not explicit or maybe I'm just stupid in that case sorry.
The best would be that I'd like to have all passes active in one file such as open EXR to be able to retreive them later in post.(In max for exemple it's quite straight forward simply tell in the render global which pass i want in my open exr and render away).
If someone know how to do that a little step by step would be so helpfull.
