View Full Version : destroyed mesh using mental ray motion blur

I am trying to render animated character with mental ray and i have full motion blur turned on. Everything renders good, exept one frame renders with totally destroyed poligon mesh (polygons are allover). I checked an in wieport mesh is ok, but if i use motion blur it destroys it in render, if i turn motion blur of everything is ok.

If anybody ahs a solution for this i woudl be really glad.

had the same problem.

i asked autodesk about the problem, they weren't able to help .

have you tried to export the entire scene as geometry cache, than re-apply render settings on the new scene? are you under maya 8.5?

Do you have anything with animated visibility?, if so move the keys to a .5 frame.
MR hates animated visibility with motion blur

Maybe try to check if "Rapid Motion Blur" is enabled. It may cause this.
