Hello everyone. Nice to be here . Actually I am only a (beginner) modeller and a (quite experienced) texture artist.
Unfortunately not worth a second glance when it comes to drawing. Now why Im posting this thread then?

Well, I do have a friend who is currently without access to the net but I think he has done some really terrific work during the last few months. So I thought maybe you guys are interested in seeing some of his stuff. His name is Hurricane, btw.

The whole Gallery is here! (

These pictures were made to illustrate a game idea we have had last December. Its some kind of fantasy shooter and - if you ask me- it could be a whole lot of fun. You can read a lot more about it here. (

Let me know if you got a million or two to spare. Maybe we can actually create that game then.

In case you want to see more of his stuff (and contributions by other great artists please visit this gallery. (

Hey MrD---
the pics are sweet, especially the bot.
One crit though, Ya gotta hook up those boots better.
The drawing and inkwork is superb, right to where the boots connect. It looks like ya ran out of gas right there.
Right now, there isnt alot of detail and they have a ton of potential for greatness.
I'm not slammin ya, believe me, I love the drawing.
Its just the boots that makes the whole look unfinished.
Great work tho.

I agree with you on his boots a hundred percent.
These pics were all done by a firend who is "offline"- I posted them here to get some feedback. I know he doesnt like drawing boots so you got it all right ;)

I'm the same way with Hands--I hate drawing them and it usually shows. So I understand where your friend is coming from.
Heres a link to some kickass boots by nathan Campbell...

(thats not the exact link, but theres a great study of boots within Campbell's gallery)

Also, Check out these from Jay Hawkins (Hawkprey, who oftens posts on CGtalk too)
(especially the 2nd pic)

Both those guys rock.

Hope they give yer friend some cool ideas.
