Title: Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus and Fneder American Telecaster and BadCat Amp
Name: Joe Yan
Software: CINEMA 4D
Hi, this is my latest work, a Fender Telecaster electric guitar.
I made this image to mourn John English, 1950-2007, famous Senior Master Builder in Fender.
Modeling, texture in cinema and rendering with FR for c4d sp3.
Hope you like it.

That rocks my world!! Too sad he passed away. I still got an autograph of him... I once watched him crafting a telecaster, ash body, aged, beautiful. And the twang, this sound... incredible.
By honouring his work you deserve 5 stars just for the message.
Itīs very nice work, although I donīt like the perspective so much. The little mine, the voodoo drive, is not spottet immediately, although the nice depth of field is leading the eye.
But the arrangement is nice. Not a standard put-together of the stuff.
The twisted cable... very oldschool! Great!
And let me append:
Rest in peace Mr. English and thanks for everything.

Sorry guys the title was wrong...the pedal is agalog chorus, not sparkle drives.
to David, I really admire you got Mr. English's autograph. There are other perspectives in this thread (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=132&t=536365), you can watch more details about the telecaster and the whole scene.

I write a post in this thread, rather than in the other one, cause I think you take a look at this one earlier.
i very much like the second image in the other thread. all images are great. Especially when rendered in Cinema, which is quite challanging I think, but the radiosity renderer sure is great!
In the close up from the top on the head Iīd love to see some fingerprints, or at least some surface irregularity on the mechanics, something "natural". Although the walls are not that clean (used paper...) everything else is absolutely clean.
your carpets are done very well. Here maybe some steps or dragged fiber directions, something like that - just to my eye ;)
And the depth of detail and props is very nice to look at. The bottleneck, the picks and so on. But especially Mr. English in the frame on the window board!! Seen many cg guitars, but this ones is definitely in the top three.
By the way I now see the sparkle drive in the other image :D - didnt look that close
Keep up the great work!
