View Full Version : Baking Light and Color from Photo Emitting Area Lights, FG, and GI

:argh:Does anybody know if you can bake the light and color from area lights emmiting photons onto polygons... I need to animate a walkthrough but I want my FG GI quality without long render times. When I try to bake the walls and celing it seems like its taking forever to bake onto the object and after about 45 min I stop the calculation. I have tried 1028 x 1028 and 2048 x 2048 tif files for my baked surface image size but it never finishes. I have 26 celiing area light and my single image renders are turning out fine in around 15 min. Has anybody else tried this before?
