View Full Version : Cinema4D GI prepass and xStream

I am using Cinema4D (R9.6) with Vue 6 xStream.
Not sure how to explain, but during the GI rendering, there is first a prepass being rendered followed by the main image being rendered.
Now, whenever I render with GI the Vue renderer does render the same image during prepass as during the main image. This means that with GI it takes twice the time to render the Vue part. Is there any setting in C4D or Vue that I can use to avoid rendering the Vue parts during GI prepass of C4D.
I have added a composition tag to the Vue object in C4D to uncheck 'seen by GI' but that doesn't solve the problem.
