View Full Version : rig and animation plugins/programs (are they better than 3Dmax's defaults?)

i saw programs like motion builder and plugins like CAT there are also other applications and plugins (some ranging from 2000$ to even 4000$). my question is, are these plugins and applications worth the time spent on learning them, and if so, could you suggest few of these truly good ones? or are 3Dmax's default bones and animation workflow options more than enough?
