The fire sucks doesn't look like fire.
Every character has its own source of light.
And what else.
I like it a lot. :)

03-31-2003, 02:28 PM
im not tt good wif realistic lighting...
btw, that is not fire...

03-31-2003, 02:47 PM
Don't worry art is not about realistic lighting.
Your art is amazing.

Yes, and if that is not fire then everything is cool. :)

04-02-2003, 12:45 PM
yepp. natural colors n light have a way of avoiding me..
:) :) :)

04-02-2003, 12:48 PM

04-02-2003, 03:59 PM
Very cool....I wouldn't worry about the light, it looks cool, like some movie poster, or the beginning of an epic tale :)

just keep going ! :bounce:

my original idea was to portray something like a final boss scene
like in a game.

04-06-2003, 06:52 PM
its very well done, you got a good style of painting, but again I think you've overdone the sexuality a bit, the overuse of so many nipples, it makes me kinda weezy. And its a shame i can't use it as a desktop... but its a good style you got.

04-06-2003, 11:02 PM
Nice... it reminds me of Terrada's Monkey King comic...

heres yet another Terrada look-alike...

so, I was wondering, who started this style?
What came first: the chicken or the egg?

04-09-2003, 01:29 AM
yea, im a huge fan of terra!
sorry bout the "nipply" bit

04-09-2003, 02:26 AM
ehehe.... you posted it here too! coolness :D

You can really do terra's style. Great work. I hope that over time you can push it or take it somewhere new.

I'm a big fan of terra's work too. I lived in Japan for a couple years and I bought as much of his stuff as I could find. I left right after the Zembu art book came out, so that was the last thing I was able to get my hands on. Now I live in the U.S. and I haven't seen any of his new stuff since then. It sucks!

Do you know of any websites dedicated to showing his stuff? Or do you have any news about what he's been doing lately?

Rock on!

04-11-2003, 01:37 PM
thanx!! i've been learning from terra's style for a while now
hmm, i've not much news about terra except that i've got his website as my homepage..
so everytime he publishes a book, i'll know.

i've got zenbu too, n lots of others that came out after that.
