For those who are OpenGL and DirectX developers, SCI is in the final processes of developing a Tone Mapping Operator Kit that will allow OpenGL, DirectX and 3D applications developers to render their scenes in HDR and tone map them before outputing it to the screen or file for final output. Here are some of the initial specs.

So any request/feedback on the specs would be great.

Pixel Format Support
RGB = (32,32,32)
BGR = (32,32,32)
RGBA = (32,32,32,32)
ARGB = (32,32,32,32)
BGRA = (32,32,32,32)
RGBE = (8,8,8,8)
Y = (32)

Six Different Operators
Linear, Clipping, Exponential, Lock05, Lock06 and Fattal.

Configurable Options
PreGamma, PostGamma, Luminosity, Saturation, Strength, Micro, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Radius and Midtones.

Platform Support
Win and OSX

Valid, i probably should have only put in one group. So if the forum leaders want to remove this one please do so.

But stating that this is not valid to place it here i'm not sure is 100% true.

example. AMD's new technology is discussed and will be in a CPU someday (no release date), so it hasn't been technically released yet either. (

I don't want to make this a big issue, so i will drop it now. Sorry to any i may have upset.
