Just asking outta curiosity.. is the new Vue 6.5 any more stable than 6.0 ?! or will it crash even more... i heard various bad things about it's problems with stability.

6.5 has been rock solid for me - even with really large files. Unfortunatly, the people who post negative posts tend to be more vocal. The rest of us are too busy having fun using the program.

6.5 has been just fine for me but it's always been just fine for me! I've had maybe three problems that irked me and that's about it....

6.5 working very well. I'm rendering a scene with around 12.2 billion poly's, displcements on 5 textures, approx 90,000 object instances and not once has it suggested it was unhappy!

That's certainly good to hear! :) thanks for your comments which were for positive. This got me interested in the new 6.5 but it might still be quite a while until i can afford it. :/

But wow.. 12,2 billion is alot! hehe, quite crazy.. it must be Vue's famous instancing system in action there.

object instances sure..but load in a zbrush model around 2-3 millions polys..and it probably won´t be happy..
