Hey guys Roberto here,
For a week I will do an experiment at the DSF.
It is called NEW WORLD.
The idea is for you the artist to create either your own world or your vision of the historic rediscovery of a new land. you may go as much detail as you wish in the worlds you are visualizing.
there a no rules this week, so let your imaginations soar.

Have fun guys, and see you all in one week.

Wow, Thany, I am jealous of your skillz. Join a game developer now because I want to play in your world! It looks awesome.

Thany, wow! Being inspired by you, I went ahead and downloaded goro's set of brushes and tried to paint a concept-like style sketch... my final result is this:
It's neat to experiment and see what I come up with. Imo, it's one of my best sketches so far. :D Thank you Thany for the inspiration.
Made with Photoshop of course. ;) I have no idea how long it took me to paint, but my best guess would be 1 hour and 30 min.

Hey, thanks guys. I'm happy that I can inspire some people to create art. I too get inspiration from fellow artists. I'm a graphic designer, but I'm more interested in concept art.

Thany your work is REALLY cool. You should post a tutorial on speed painting...for the sake of those of us who lack your talent.

It would be much appreciated. :)
