Reverse foot setup with joints or with groups?

The setup with the joints is better becaus you can't lose the rotation pivots as you do with groups right?

Any comments are welcomed on thos topic ... joints vs groups for reverse foot ...

Makes no difference. Only thing joints have going for them is you can seperate out their translation from rotations and apply IK, otherwise they are just a visual representation of grouped clusters.

I think that in Max, you should avoid using groups in a rig :D as it can lead to some "issues"

I use groups mostly.

However, Max does have an issue with groups, so I use Point Helpers in place of groups when working with Max.

Max doesn't have an issue with hierarchies, it just works a little differently than Maya, or other packages! :)
