How is it, the specs look exactly the same as Ti4600 but it's a lot cheaper, what's the trick here?
Any comments are appreciated.

It is probably only a Ti4200 running at AGP 8x.

Thanks for your comments, I guess it's just a Ti4600 with AGP8X:)

From my understanding they are either 4200's or 4400's not 4600's although there may be some. Not exactly sure how to check which is which without seeing the actuall chipset. so make sure you know what you are getting, probably are still better off getting a 4200 then softquadro it.

my 4800 is a 4400 running at 8x.

The scaling is supposed to go....
Ti 4800 = Ti 4600 + AGP 8x
Ti 4800SE = Ti 4400 + AGP 8x
Ti 4200- 42XX = Ti 4200 + AGP 8x
Some manufacturers play with the numbers a bit... like a
Ti 4680...is actually a Ti 4200 + AGP 8x. Be very wary when buying any of the new AGP 8x Geforce4 cards...check and double check on what speed card your actually getting.
