View Full Version : Masking Software .... is it worth it?

I am about to get into a project where I may be doing quite a bit of masking work. I have seen software like 'Cinematte' and 'Knockout' that suppossedly make the task a lot easier. Have you guys used any of those? if yes, what was your experience? is there one better than the other? (besides the noticeable price difference)
Any feedback you may be able to give will be greatly appreciated.

If your going to do a lot of masking then yes, specialist software is probably a good idea. However, do you have a little bit of time to be able to leanr how to use it? because ultimately that may even slow you down...
I haven't used either of those programs personally, but looking at the features I sure wouldn't mind getting my hands on them.

There is Extract tool in PS.... not as powerful as Knockout maybe, but still pretty handy ;)
