View Full Version : maintain edges while smoothing in maya

Hi guys,

I'm modeling a character that has some parts with strong edges but when I smooth it they are rounded too much; I tried the preserve geomtry borders option in the smooth command but it doesn't suit my needs: exist a way to preserve the edges while smoothing?

You'll need to insert edge loops at the edges you want to stay hard.
