View Full Version : desperate....help with flash

Does anyone know how this was done. Id like to be able to display my models in the same kind of way. Im really looking for a tutorial that show the steps required or at least the basics that I could expand on. Here is a link to the effect Id like to do.

yeah, it's not that hard... just tedious.

basically what this person did was took pics of his model spinning, in different modes, and saved each one out seperate.

Then he loaded 'clothed' for instance as a sequence in Flash which automatically puts them in order.

Putting the 'wireframe', 'naked,' etc.. buttons on the bottom was done through a button symbol that switches scene states.

It's actually pretty easy (if you're familiar with Flash) and inventive too. Suprised I haven't seen more models displayed like this.

couldnt i render out a animation of the model spinning and import it some way into a swf?

ok now Im on a mission....Ive been playing around....I managed to save a short animation as as .tiff files and then I imported them into imageready and I was able to then save it as a swf. but without thecontrols or buttons, and those may actually be in image ready but I just started scratching the surface.

you can't create buttons that will switch scene-states or scroll frames in ImageReady. All that is very, very easy to do it Flash. :)

Good luck!
