View Full Version : HMC # 9: Darth Plagueis

Here is my first attempt at making Darth Plagueis.
Since their wasnít any real reference of him I wanted to start with his face, just to give me an idea of what type of character he has.
The scene I am doing of him is on his death bed, Iíll have a rough sketch of this scene in a few days.

Thanks for any comments,

Pretty intersesting, good concept and Idea..
My only problem/... A small one.
He was killed in his sleep... :)

Hey thanks guys,

I also made the first painted image, I wanted to explore what this very old and sickly grand master sith lord look like.

His death scene troubles me but I hope to have a possible solution by adding another character to composition.

Here is a new image of scene, more to come.

as airflow said he was killed in his sleep, but since this was by sidious you could easily have sidious hunched over the bed....maybe even with his saber plunged through plagueis' chest......

Cool idea and thanks robo3687 :)

I was thinking of something similar to that or having him making a mist that does plagueis' in.

If you're interested in adhering to canon though, don't go crazy on details with the murderer. According to canon, the murderer has never been named, although many assume it was Sidious.

It's strongly implied in the movie that Sidious did it. At least, that's what I got.

Why not just have a cloak and a lightsabre? That way, you don't have to commit to a particular murderer?

Would Plagueis have been old and sickly? Considering his powers, he might've looked healthy up to the end.

Now I am no expert at this, but maybe if you were to add Darth Sidius into the scene, put a facial expression of shock and failure on his face? Just an idea.
Now as much as a star wars buff I am, I don't think I have ever seen a picture of him, but very nice concept, you're off to a great start.
