with zbrush 3 around the corner and mudbox as an upcomer, it would be interesting and helpful if anyone has the experience or the know how, about how to getting good and proper displacements inbetween these programs and vue infinite 6.

I havenīt seen a pipeline guide about this would be most welcome.
I can imagine some pretty awesome rock creations and texturing with these combinations.

so any tips, links or guidelines are most welcomed.

Dunno about Mudbox, but Zbrush displacements work fine in Vue6.

I'll try and post a "how to" soon.

Thankīs Bruno , I would appreciate that.
Meanwhile.. I will try to figure it out anyway how to get a proper decent workflow when it comes to getting displacements in to vue.

I've used Mudbox displacement maps in Vue with no problem. The output is perfectly matched to how Vue handles displacement with Middle Gray being zero, white + 1, and black -1. I've had problems with Poser displacement maps since they use black as zero and white as +1. Vue now has a "Displace Outward Only" switch to allw it work with Poser type displacement maps.
