View Full Version : Basic animation: ball (to improve)

Hi guys, I'm trying to get the basics for animation. Here a little experiment in AM style (waiting to join the school). It's not complete and I animated this straight ahead. Probably timing, spacing and weights are all wrong!

Here (http://www.polecatanimation.com/video/ballblast01.mov) the .mov file.

Thanks guys!

not too bad, could have used squash and stretch and add more contrast in timing

Thanks for reply, what do you mean with contrast in timing? Sorry I'm very noob!

contrast in timing means to exaggerate your animation timing wise, for example with the ball, give it a really long hang time in the air and then whoosh falls down to the floor really fast, one frame contact on the ground and goes up quickly again for another long hang time.
