View Full Version : raytype transparency broken?

i am simply trying to get a transparent shadow by plugging a solid shader to eye and a semi transparent shader into trasparency slot of raytype so the render will have a transparent shadow from the object but not a transparent shader on it. it seems that the transparency slot for both p_raytype and raytype (ctrl) is broken? it has no effect on the shadow. am i missing something to get this working? when i apply the transparent shader on the object the shadow works fine so it's not raytrace depth or anything. i dont want to make a pass for this, any ideas how to get this network working?
