wow... good job! hehe
I like the art work but the background can be darker to bring out her beauty of the character. Little bit more contrast and it'll look nice as hell ^^

It's a beautiful work! I like the colors and the style very much

What size WACOM table do you use? Also, do you have a table size preference when creating art using various programs? Bigger one better, etc...
03-15-2003, 05:15 PM

Thank`s friends for your responses....
To Tommi:I am very glad, that you like colors of a picture, I triedvery much to make work beautiful!:)
To adam|zeliasz:I have a Wacom Intuos 2 tablet,A5 size.
I like to use A4-A5 size tablets, they are most convenient for me.
I`m glad, that you like my work...
To NissanSexima:Yes,I think you are right...maybe I`ll work with a background because I wont to make this work better!
03-15-2003, 08:57 PM
You should darken the background slightly the further deep the water is. Dont darken her or the fish.
03-15-2003, 09:01 PM

You are the first artist in cg talk's history who got a front page plug two times in the same day. Well deserved i should add.

Well naughty naughty for not using reference!!
Its great, the only things I have to say is the colour of the ground in the forground, her shoulder and the lighting of it.
Bu i love the colour and the composition of it!!

looks great overall, it would work fine as-is but I must agree that something more with the background might help, although I imagine that the title/author of the novel will be going there.
It's very nice, the colour combinations, really does show a wonderful ocean this gurl is in, and the shirt, looks very nice 'batik' designs on it.. congrats! :)
03-16-2003, 01:09 AM

03-16-2003, 03:53 AM
this is gorgeous and the colors are amazing. everything looks perfect except when you consider her environment, her hair should be floating around, not neatly done up :P
my only nitpick!! awesome job

03-16-2003, 04:12 AM
I didn`t use doge tool and burn tool.
About brushes-in Photoshop I usially use big airbrush, not very big sized brushes with smooth edges and little hard brushes for some detailes.
03-16-2003, 04:48 AM
Very nice! There's nothing I could find that I didn't like about it. :D
gorgeous artwork. the color scheme is incredible.
03-16-2003, 04:57 AM

that is a wonderful pic.
03-16-2003, 06:03 AM
WOW! how did u do that? there were so many details and u kept it so neat, how long did it take u to finish this piece?
03-16-2003, 06:33 AM
Like I said in my other reply to you, its such a great thing to have such a talented female artist here. And you're also young! Very very nice, the colors here are just mind blowing. If I was to crit on something is too rid some of the head space above the girl, so we can concentrate more on her. Everything is very well done, she's beautiful and her dress pattern is very well thought out. What were your references?

I'm still shocked by it all!:)
It`s huge honour for me!!!!
To lildragon :As for work-I have a many friens-photomodels,because I work in model agency too.:)
The Princess`s dress-this is my own "batik".
I engage batik for a long time and I have made this dress for myself.I draw the girl in this dress, because it`s my favourite dress:)
To tell the truth, I slightly have changed colors of a dress. I have made such bright colors in a picture because I wanted to make fantastic work for a cover of the book.
To john doe:I draw this work during a month, and I think background occupied the most part of time!
Thank you one more time for your attention and responses dear friends!
03-16-2003, 09:19 PM
