I know that AMs strong point aint sfx. But how do other people do it? Looking for some insight. Stuff like what you see in Hollow Man and morphs explosions and all that. Is it done in After Effects? Or composited with other 3d apps? Like you do a killer morph-explosion in C4D then add it via compositing?

Most effects in holywood big budget movies are done using a large variety of tools. Houdini is currently the reigning champ of big earth shattering explosions. I don't quite know what morph sequence you are talking about. . . but with AM. . . you have the mother of all "morph" tools in muscle mode. . .

Compositing is a huge part of any production. Getting to look good and render out of your 3D program is really only the beginning. . .
