View Full Version : moveAll position during scene

I have a question relating to professional studio productions.

During the course of animating a scene, is it common for the character to move away from the "moveAll" control, usually indicated by a large 4 arrowed wireframe, or does "moveAll" follow the movement of the character around the set?

My question would relate specifically to a scene that does NOT employ a walk or run cycle, but in which the character does move around and interact with the set significantly.

I have used both methods in the past but was wondering what the industry standard was, as a potential job may depend on it.
