I'm posting this both in Rendering and MEL, sorry for the spamming. I've recently completed a script that hopefully gives users some flexibility with their rendering and texturing.
The main functions are:
- Dynamic Smoothing according to user defined distances.
- Multiple connections between cameras, lights, objects and all the possible combinations between them.
- Ability to have custom objects replace the main object when it smooths (if you feel the smoothing function is jarring when it switches from one division to another.)
- Blend lo, mid and high resolution images/shaders according to distance (or just different images/shaders, if you want to try some abstract stuff.)
