Hello there,

I'm writing my own node based compositor. Its name is Cove and it is working, but it is still basic. I kinda doubt anyone will find this thread useful, but who knows. If you will follow the link you can see its first steps :)

Cool project. Why do you have the baxes that pop up with the time taken to do stuff?

Btw, your particle thing at your homepage looks good:)

I have those to measure time and are there because.. I got lazy and took shortcut :scream:

Nice start. Looks like it's coming along well.
Once you have the GUI nailed down, I'd suggest having a look at the openfx api ( If you have strong support of that built in early on, any nodes you write for your compositor could already be used elsewhere, and your app would also have support for a few commercial plugins as well. :thumbsup:

Yeah, openfx.. I forgot about that. But Cove is written in c# so it would be a little harder to implement that api :sad:
