I have been triying to get rid of the noice in my animations without succeeding. As far as I know in order to get rid of the noice the amount of rays in the calculation should be increased. Does it have to do with the scale of the scene?

if so, how can I check the scale of my scene?

any help would be appreciated

Noise can come from different sources, it can be bump related ( in this case, remove bump on background objects), dof or motion blur related ( in this case, add more AA or use the hybrid blur) or simply because of too low AA settings in general. If the noise is in the clouds ( spectral atmos), crack up the atmosphere quality settings ( it's in the sky fog & haze tab).
For animations, I'd recommend you use soft AA, and/or some distance blurring. This parameter is found in the advanced animation options. It takes care of noise and flicker.
