View Full Version : Music video with animation collaboration opportunity! Get your name out there!

Hey there,

My name is Chalin and I am a musician. I have a particular song I have written in dedication to those who were senselessly killed on September 11th, 2001 at the World Trade Centers. What I am looking for is a animator or designer of some sort who wants to collab with me to make a short video. My half is already complete (the song), now I just need your half! I can't pay you, but what I can offer is getting your name out there and your work seen by 20 to 30 people and more a day, as well as just enjoying working with another artist to create something honorable and respectful for our fallen fellow americans to further heal old wounds. Furthermore, My myspace page gets tons of hits everyday, and so your work and your name credit would be seen everyday! Sound cool? I hope so.

I have the concept for the video pretty much set in my head as a grey idea, but I would definitely welcome your ideas as well. I won't give the details here on this post until I see someone contact me with interest, then we can get into the nitty gritty. The song is 3:55 minutes long, and the style will be 'impressionistic' with a final memorial picture at the end. You don't have to do any video editing, just the animation, but the file you export has to be able to be compatible with Avid Xpress DV (PC users only please), as this will be the program I use to edit the final pieces together (song & animation). I will send you a copy as well when we're all finished, and my name and yours will obviously be in the credits.

Sooooooo, if anyone's interested in this fun and rewarding project, please let me know! I would love to work with you!

Get in contact with me by replying to this post, and we can work out the details by email. :)
