View Full Version : Swallowing rig

Hey All,

I am doing a project that requires a snake-like character to swallow a smaller character, neck bulge and all, and I have no idea how to go about it. The only ideas I had were a series of morph targets along the snake's throat, or else to have an FFD modifying his throat that I could animate later. Any suggestions?

What about a vert volume select with soft-selection, and a push modifier? its simple, but could work. Or a morph of the entire neck, with an inverted vol select below it in the stack to determine the diameter of the morph on the neck.
