I think I may have some time to contribute to this challenge. I'll do Bruce Willis as one of my favorite action heroes. Blender is the application of choice for this entry.

15 mins into setup.

Some progress... Need to add perspective distortion compesation, and tweaks all over the place to get some likeness going.

robo3687, thanks for the welcome man! I'm still lagging behind some of the entries...some are already textured and stuff :).

you're welcome, and also thank you to you cos that poster i think may just be the ref i need to nail the likeness in my cheers....

a couple of things i noticed looking at the turn around:

- I think with your model you need to watch the rolls on the back of the neck, as they are in the ref but his neck is bent in such a way that they show up....if you do the pose in the poster those rolls won't be there....
- the ears are too cupped, the inner portion of the ear actually sticks out a little way past the outer edge at the back of the ear (hope that made
- also the mouth seems a bit wide...i had that issue as well....

that being said i know it's only early stages and you've probably noticed alot of these things yourself...good luck

Some progress...

I made full body for him becouse I'm still not sure what framing and pose I will use for final.

I still have to fix some topology and general shape and then its off to sculpting detail.
