View Full Version : basic question regarding the biped in the visor

As I am not very experienced with rigging I ran into a problem I dont seem to be able to overcome ...
I am setting up a basic character for some previz work and was intending to use the FBIK biped example that is provided inside mayas visor.
The functionality seems fine, but when I try and adjust the proportions of the rig/bones to fit my mesh I run into unexpected problems. It seems that translating joints messes up the behaviour.

This might be logical but I dont really understand how to then adjust i.e. the length of the legs to fit any given model?
Can anybody enlighten me please?
