I enjoyed ur reel as a rigger it can be hard to show off your work and keep it unique at the same time. THe only critique i have is in reguards to the facial mocap. Something bout the way the muscle in the mouth move seems out of place. Also, I dont know what it is but when i watch it i think the codec u used for ur reel makes the black in ur background flicker at times. I liked ur method of rigging and the muscle system in the beginning was really impressive. I wouldnt mind animating any of ur characters. Keep up the good work and good luck with ur job search.

I have posted better versions - youtube and WMV! Both download very quickly and are better quality than the last link I had up. Sorry about this... Please enjoy!

very impressive rigging reel, the only crit i really have is the face mocap the mouth moves a bit too much along with the jaw and cheeks, just a lil bit not too much. Besides that the rigs are amazing...

Thanks for the great comments everyone (I consider any comment useful!).

Mayazeus - send me a message/email and I'll see what I can work out with you about the alien rig (I could use some more animations for it anyways).

I will be replacing a few parts over the next week so I'll try to post an update if anyone cares to see. But again thanks for the critiques, keep em coming!

Pretty cool reel. I'd like to comment about the facial rig in particular: the muscle set up seems to be quite a bit off because the motion doesn't seem natural. I would assume that it was caused mainly because of the direction of motion of the muscles that you set up. Check out the facial muscle structure in anatomy books. Making weird faces in front of a mirror for a couple of hours also helps:D:D:D:D Other then that it seems pretty cool. Oh, and the rig+lowres lesh creation process could me a little slower. It goes a tad too fast: it would be good to see how the UI is set up. Also if you have some other scripts, it would be a good idea to show off more scripting skills. Hope this helps! Cheers!
