@ mathieu-gg: sorry for misunderstanding, not every shot in my reel describes which software it is, sorry...
10-20 milion particles is made in 3ds max an pflow, renderd with KRAKATOA "0.9.12 beta by frantic films"
and yea, R&D is not very interesting, but I'm waiting for permissions to show all my job works.

great particle sims. I was always wondering when the KRAKATOA beta testers would showcast their stuff.

wow nice stuff!! maya fluid clouds was gr8!! how's maya particle system compare to 3ds max pflow and plugins? does it involve high level mel scripting? how does particles setup work? ( i m totally noob to maya but curious to know..)

Fantastic R&D work. I have been wanting to get some time to create some tests similar to your very first one with the jello looking cube.
How difficult was it to incorporate the soft bodies with the real flow particle simulation?
Did you just simulate the soft body and collisions then take that into real flow and apply another simulation to it at a certain point in the animation?
Can't wait to see your final show reel.

@ jigu: I would never compare MAX to Maya. U know one or the other,... or both. Writing the differences take more then one night :-)
@ kwood: with knowledge of RF its easy, actually, my first solver was the best, tweaking this did it worse :-)
Setting rigid body in maya 6 was hard, but, with maya 8.5 and nCloth its easy now :-)
@ al3ashiq64: to get an explosion u have to animate the burn and expansion rate, running more and more tests u will get the result u want!

Ive been trying to get that flame thrower effect you have for some time. ive got the best result by using gravity vector but thant emliminates the horisontal gravity. Could you describe your setup for this shot?
And BTW Amazing stuff youve made there.
That is some amazing work!. Loved the RF integration and the clouds where perfect.
Was just curious on your first shot of your name turning into a smoke element. Was that done in Maya without plugins?. Its always been a sort of obsession of mine to see text into smoke or sand etc...
