hey guys, im building a new character and scene and i really want it to be photo realistic. im going to do skin with SSS, and i know how to do all of that, but my question is, i need to texture his clothing, what are some good techniques in mental ray for that? im going to paint the textures in photoshop, but what kind of mental ray materials are best to use for cloth? i dont want it to be shiney or plastic looking, i would like it to be soft and partially absorb light like cloth does.

thanks a lot!!

If you are using maya any version you can use a lambert shader. If you are using max you could use phong shading with very low or none specular value and low glosiness.
