View Full Version : how to apply normal maps pls help
antonymuse 03 March 2007, 07:07 AM i have an immediate requirement to apply normal map on my Mudbox model, but i don't know how to. Could anyone please tell me how i can apply material to my model in mudbox.

mudbox is not able to render the normalmap...
you can see it but there is no "effect" in the shader...
open your material an insert the deffuse texture...

if you want to see the normalmap rendered... use max, xsi, maya or whatever...
maybe the xnormal viewer could help...
