I have been trying to model a curtain constrained to a rod. I cant figure out how to constrain the cloth to the rod. I tried going to the sub-object and grouped obj but i cant figure out how to assign constraints. Please help anyone. Thanks.

P.S. m using max

Hi, I'm not near a copy of Max at the mo' so my recollection is a bit hazy, but there is a function in Cloth where you can "group" a selection of verts. Once the group is defined and named you can assign a property to it, in your case something called "surface" - or words to that effect. In the surface parameters you'll be able to assign the rod mesh. All these things should be in the Cloth rollout. Hope that helps.

These Quicktime Cloth tutorials from Autodesk are pretty comprehensive, one even covers Groups and Constraints:

Good luck!
