View Full Version : First try at Mudbox.

Now, I'm not really a modeler (organic that is) But I just tried Mudbox, and I think I will use it more often from now on. Since This forum opened, one of the earliest posts was a link to a tutorial video, so I watched it. And the I tried my hand at it. So here is the final image that I saved out of Photoshop. Although somewhat adjusted, and painted over, I guess it illustrates how someone not that great at modelling is able to do something artistic (at least for an illustration). Hopefully you enjoy this image.

Good start, i mean your way ahead of whatever i can pull with mudbox as of yet. Really like the brush you use.

People tend to learn and get really good in this package, must be the easy interface. Will post some of my work once i finally let other apps a break.

Keep posting

Thanx Freewaldo , and you're right, I really think MB has a really artist friendly interface. One could just pick up a pen and do stuff, fast. I'm not sure about Z-brush though, as it has a wierd way of working. I'm just gonna wait for release 3 and then I'll also look into it. I'd love to see some of your stuff, so post soon. :)
