View Full Version : Ctrl_Occlusion & transparency not working

Hi there!

I am trying to do FG Occlusion pass, in the hope that this way I can have proper occlusion for transparent objects.
Whatever I do, it doesn't want to work out as I want it. What am I doing wrong? Or how should it be done?

well I never used the SpriteShader but you do need to put transparency on the objects you want transparent... then using the ctrl.occlusion in FGmode it will obey that transparent shader you applied....

what about plugging occlusion node to the input port of the sprite node and use your image as a matte? then of course plug sprite node directly to the surface input

I didn't test it but it should work
