hi everybody...I raise here first time..^^

02-27-2003, 06:10 PM
Very nice ,

Which software did you use for the image , and Can i see a wireframe to appreciate it even more.

02-27-2003, 06:16 PM
Very, very nice. If I had to find something wrong with it, it would be that the breasts are not reflecting the gravity of her position.
Really beautiful, though.

Maybe shes got digital enhancements ahahahahahha:scream:

02-27-2003, 06:49 PM
Brilliant! , the front page trimmed image made me think of Squaresoft cinematic characters.

02-27-2003, 06:58 PM
I am simply amazed...

02-27-2003, 07:04 PM
nicest thing ive seen in CGTALK ever.

as for the breast not being moved by gravity.....maybe they are implants

king of tartine
02-27-2003, 07:11 PM
Fantastic....nice face, very good work...:bounce:

02-27-2003, 07:11 PM

02-27-2003, 07:12 PM
Brilliant work, very polished and professional looking. Great website also. Wow!

02-27-2003, 07:16 PM
for a second there, I thought that was something from SquareSoft's Final Fantasy.... and that thing about her breats? Damn, u must have seen a lot to know how gravity can affect how they look... hahaha...jk. ^.~

02-27-2003, 07:22 PM
I truly love it... I just fell in love with her the moment I saw her on the front page  ... Can you post a very-high-res version please ?

02-27-2003, 07:23 PM

is that all 3D?? man, that's really amazing -- hahaha yeah - this must be Stahlbergs relative like 10 times removed!!

02-27-2003, 07:32 PM
Beautiful piece of work.
Is she swinging on some sort of device or falling backwards? What is the significance of the snake?

Well done for a polished piece of work.

02-27-2003, 07:33 PM
Simply awesome! Congratulations on a job well done. The modeling, texturing, and post work all come together very well.

However, I think that not only are the breasts not reacting to gravity, but also the hair and clothing. Is this meant to be seen vertically rather than horizontally?

Look forward to seeing you post more stuff here!

02-27-2003, 07:35 PM
i've been checking your website and uhm..... did you cooporate into making the 'fortress' movie ??

Because it's

02-27-2003, 07:39 PM
What an amazing image.

02-27-2003, 07:51 PM
she's so beautiful....
i'm overwhelmingly amazed.

my only crit:
her hair doesn't seem to flow with
her draped body, and her boobs don't
sag in the direction of her drappage either.

but she's amazing!

02-27-2003, 07:52 PM
Very nice work! :buttrock:

And amazing work for your website:buttrock:

02-27-2003, 07:54 PM

02-27-2003, 07:54 PM
WOW  I'd also like to know what Software and how long it took to do that. What is yoru experience and background??

otherwise:  :applause: :wip: :bounce: :buttrock:

02-27-2003, 08:01 PM
The picture is :bounce:

But: Gravity seems not to influence the position of the rings in her ears!
But i have a new desktopbackground!

02-27-2003, 08:01 PM

What a job dude!
which software used on modeling, rendering and hair production?!

02-27-2003, 08:04 PM
wow

02-27-2003, 08:05 PM
Sheesh! I like the nude version too!

I see you work in Maya 4.0 ...but how did you make that hair?

You should really post your movies here at CGTalk as well... it would be a crime not to do so!
I downloaded most of the material on your website... if I were just 1% as good as you are...

02-27-2003, 08:07 PM
wowww:applause: :applause: :applause:

wireframes tooo

incredible character

this colud be a poster ;)

02-27-2003, 08:16 PM
I'll never make the front page of CGTalk!
Standards are too high now.
My only chance is to climb the highest mountain in Korea and meditate for years until I receive my vision. What's with Koreans? Has anyone seen "Reign, the conqueror"?
Bunch of Koreans worked on that cool animation! From makers of Aeon Flux.

02-27-2003, 08:21 PM
splendid colors and lighting :applause:

02-27-2003, 08:21 PM

02-27-2003, 08:24 PM
GREAT WORK ! ! ! That is some high quality stuff.

02-27-2003, 08:25 PM
This really reminds me of a poster I saw for an "O.S.T." project when I was in Seoul in December. The posters were everywhere, and were of a similarly clad female valkerie like figure. I tried desperately to find a place that would sell a full sized poster, but came up empty handed.

I notice you're from South Korea yourself, I was wondering if the other girl (the one from the posters all over Seoul) was your inspiration or, your work too?

02-27-2003, 08:47 PM
can only say what everyone else said.. WoW man!!! great work... that is just amazing .... i love the style. :buttrock:

02-27-2003, 08:55 PM
Good work. Very impressive!

It would be interesting see wireframe. And of course movie. Do you plan make it?

02-27-2003, 09:04 PM
Just gotta comment on the front page work of late. It's been seriously amazing. It's always been great, but man people seem to be churning out really great work.

02-27-2003, 09:04 PM
Exceptional. A very strong style. Gravity aside (Maybe she it falling through water?), it has a beautiful feel.

Brilliant work.

02-27-2003, 09:15 PM
I can't find anything to say but excellent

well... hair too then

02-27-2003, 09:40 PM
Extremely cool image...nice job!

I don't know if you are looking for suggestions at this point, but the composition has a couple horizontal elements that I would suggest fixing.

I'd raise the head of the snake...and I would drop her right arm quite a bit so that it would create a better relationship with the angle in the lower legs.

Comments have already been made about the hair, and fixing that could be as easy as painting it. It would be nice if it had a vertical flow, like the sash around the waist.

Again, very nice job!

02-27-2003, 10:03 PM
great job.
Love it.

02-27-2003, 10:21 PM
omg. this is amazing..... :)

02-27-2003, 10:22 PM
Wow! Very nice. Only thing I can complain about is that her hair (pony-tail thingy) has two tones of color (almost like two entirely different hair cuts; looks kinda wierd. I'd take the pony-tail part off.) :applause:

02-27-2003, 10:26 PM
This is great !!!!!!!

I saw your work at CG Land....
I'm glad to see you here again
Hope you get choice award and post some more work as well. :D

Good Luck:buttrock:

02-27-2003, 10:26 PM

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

02-27-2003, 10:58 PM
the snakes have her, now she is losing. How will she win? This is obviously her last battle. How sad.

True True. The earings would need to be affected by gravity as well but who care about that. :D

Anyways....that's beautiful ! ! ! !

My neck hurts from turning my head around to see her face. . .

The FreakyOne
02-27-2003, 11:07 PM
it kinda looks liek shes flipping backwerds and thats why her hair/boob/s and earrings arent "laying back" and relaxed

other then that  WOW

02-27-2003, 11:14 PM
 Niiiiiice.

02-27-2003, 11:27 PM

Thanks for posting.

02-27-2003, 11:40 PM
so impressive.... congradulashions !

02-28-2003, 12:00 AM
Nude version? Where?

I can't access the Gallery page

i guess the picture has some "gravity" issues but to me that's not that important. I would color the pony-tail the same color as the rest of the hair though, and make the snake in the front "twist" differently, more like a bow...

Awesome work...

02-28-2003, 12:24 AM
Wow, first post, front page.

Not bad, not bad at all!

02-28-2003, 12:31 AM

AMAZING model and character design, if you can. Could you show some other views?, perhaps a front view as to see the whole character easier. Again VERY nice model, very motivational (so great that i HAD to reply to this post)

02-28-2003, 03:19 AM
Aside from the gravity on the breasts... nothing to say, simply one of the nicest piece of art I've seen pass through the forums congrats

awwwwww man!!!!!

truly inspiring!

02-28-2003, 04:06 AM
Right click.... save as.... place as desktop.. :-) I even reorganized my desktop icons so they don't cover up the image of the girl. :-) My girlfriend is a bit upset at me too. lol

Very awesome work on the modelling and texturing.

I saw the animation section. I had a sudden flash back when I realized what I was watching. You did a 3D version of that Flash Stick fighter. Just that this time, the characters remained the same height and didn't get shorter as he went up the levels.
Love the transition between "Level 1" and "Level 2"

If there was voting on this image, it would be an automatic 5 star.

Can't wait to see more!!

02-28-2003, 04:08 AM

02-28-2003, 11:07 AM
the pose reminds me this one which is characteristic for jumpers who are just over a crosspiece rather than for a lying person. Maybe she is in movement . This would explain the gravity issues ...

02-28-2003, 11:11 AM
 Awsome work, Awsome site {maybe you can make thumbnails a bit bigger on the site} have you thought about cropping it down? maybe cut her foot out?

02-28-2003, 11:56 AM

Seriously, this is sick! This is better than ANY model i've seen on here, besides a few.

Angyo heseyo,

This is the most refreshingly creative piece of work that I've seen in a long time. It's BRILLIANT. Definately has a masamune shirow style (Orion, ghost in the shell) His 2d work is awesome and for you to produce a piece of this stature in 3D blows my mind. Congratulations and look forward to more in future. Keep up the good work. Kombe and Chigaa.

P.s: Need a student? 'cause I need a mentor.

03-01-2003, 01:14 PM
hku64, you're at the supreme level & I would like to see more 'Korean Spirit' in your work.:applause:

03-02-2003, 11:02 PM
When i first saw it, i thought it was done by painter. It just took my breath away.
Wow, may i know what has happened to Korea 3d industries? The word fantastic is not enough to describe this piece of work.

Wow, may i know what has happened to Korea 3d industries? The word fantastic is not enough to describe this piece of work.

Basically the Korean government supports the entertainment industry with both quotas and financial investment. That includes film, CG, games...etc. They encourage their young to play video games, and they give talented young filmmakers chances to make films.

That's why the Koreans are kicking ass all over the place. Other governments need to look into that.

A brilliant piece of work...however if the intent is to make something this perfect ,why are some of the physics wrong.
Ie:the hair, earings and necklace don`t seem to fall as expected with the pose of the body.
Other than that ,this is a truely outstanding piece of art.
I think I have my new wallpaper he he he:applause:

This happens quite a bit with members that don't know English. They have a hard time replying to the threads, or understanding anything written in them.

It's too bad. I'd love to see more participation from our CG friends in Korea, Japan..etc.

03-28-2003, 08:54 PM
I have a feeling he just wanted to get his name out and knew it was bad ass to start with. So what kind of critique could he have wanted? haha

Step 1: Massage neck until soarness leaves.
Step 2: Save Image as background (yet another one)
Step 3: Find website and save to favorites
Step 4: Straighten neck AGAIN

That is so amazing. It really does take my breath away and inspire to degrees you cannot imagine. Hmm, and being a half-breed Chinese I must not be outdone. Later, I have modeling skills to work on!

She is falling down to back...this is the reason why her breasts and other things like her collar, clothes and ear rings are where they are...I think so.

Regards to all.:)
